I'm a collaborative and relational therapist at heart.
I aim to meet my clients where they're at, both in life and on their healing journey. I make two basic assumptions about my clients: One, that you have a desire to change, even if what that looks like isn’t clear; and two, that you already possess the strength and some of the skills you need to make this change. Because of this, I value a holistic approach to therapy, where I take the time necessary to understand what's important, meaningful, and life-giving to you. This is what nourishes the work we'll do together to help you make sustainable changes.
The work of therapy can be challenging and rewarding all at once. You can expect from me a relaxed sense of humor and a calm, grounded, and approachable presence to help you feel supported and unhurried in our work together.
My experience includes working with people experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, new medical diagnoses, grief, loss, trauma, spirituality or faith questions, and relationship conflicts. I have worked with adolescents (14+), individuals, couples, families of all ages, older adults, first responders, and health care professionals, and I have provided pre-marital counseling.
