“Most people are doing the best they can, given what they know and understand, including you. If they knew more and were aware of more, they would do things differently.”

–Louise Hay

I work with highly intelligent, capable individuals and couples who feel frustrated and defeated, having spent months, and often years, stuck in a cycle they can’t seem to shake on their own. I help people take back control of their lives through a holistic and collaborative approach.

I use well-established integrative methods to aid individuals and couples address a range of issues, such as: stressful/traumatic events, grief/loss, relational conflict, work stressors, and life transitions. I have specialized experience in working with couples of military, firefighter, police, and first responder communities. I’m a lifelong learner, engaging in a variety of educational and training courses each year to continue to refine my skills and integrate cutting-edge interventions.

My style is straightforward, collaborative, and compassionate. I believe change occurs in spaces indicative of respect, authenticity, and safety. I respect clients’ wisdom and enjoy sharing my expertise. I help you heal your past, and build greater trust and resourcing in yourself (and your partner) to confidently face whatever the future unfolds next.

In addition to my clinical role, I’m also a clinical researcher. For the past decade, I’ve assisted with, collaborated on and conducted clinical and community-based research to better understand and treat the ripple effect of trauma and co-occurring mental health issues on individuals’ and couples’ relational and resilience functioning.
