“Most people are doing the best they can, given what they know and understand, including you. If they knew more and were aware of more, they would do things differently.”

–Louise Hay

I work with highly intelligent, capable individuals and couples who feel frustrated and defeated, having spent months, and often years, stuck in a cycle they can’t seem to shake on their own.

I’ve come to learn that breaking the cycle of “stuckness” requires a holistic approach indictive of deep respect, authenticity, and safety for all parties involved.

My approach strikes a balance between straightforward, collaborative, and compassionate. My role is never to save, nor rescue. Rather, I come alongside you (and your partner, family, etc.) to develop awareness and insight into root causes, build new strategies, help dismantle any barriers, and bolster the strengths you already bring to the table.

Since 2014, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families affected by struggles or experiences that uproot or disrupt their lives, including but not limited to: extremely stressful/traumatic events, relational conflict, nervous system regulation, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I have specialized experience in working with couples of military/first responder/firefighter/police communities. As a clinical researcher, I also collaborate on and conduct clinical and community-based research to better understand and treat the ripple effect of trauma and co-occurring mental health issues on individuals’ and couples’ relational and resilience functioning.
