We could all benefit from more mindfully exploring ourselves and our world.
Becoming more aware of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can help us identify and address unmet needs. Exploring how past experiences impact our present can be profoundly helpful in moving toward a more joyful, meaningful future.
Wherever you’re at - whatever the difficulty - your body and mind have done their best to address problems and meet your needs up to this point. Being a human in the world can be a lot sometimes.
My role as a psychotherapist is to listen with warmth and empathy, ask caring and challenging questions, and support your efforts toward improving your wellbeing.
Since 2017 I’ve worked with adult individuals (18 and up) who struggle with anxiety, depression, challenges with substance use, and/or difficulties with adjusting to new life circumstances – who want to better connect with themselves, their friends and loved ones, and the wider world.
I use a person-centered approach to therapy, heavily informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Existential and Psychodynamic approaches. I received my Masters degree in Integrated Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota and am dually licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
I look forward to meeting with you to help you move toward a more fulfilling life.
